New Glen Mhor Photograph 1938

 

A new photograph of Glen Mhor that I haven't seen previously. Regulars to our photograph section will recall the photograph of the Caledonian football ground taken in 1950. This image is a similar setting, but was taken in 1938 and comes courtesy of the SHPA. The owners of Glen Mhor commissioned this photograph. 

To the right are the trees that lined the Telford road, towards the swing bridge. The trees are clearly present in our 1928 aerial photograph. They seem to have vanished when the Caledonian ground was expanded and became a fully enclosed stadium.
