Update: Newspapers and Distillery Timeline

 

Our newspaper archive continues to grow.

We've added two notable personalities and their deaths to the section and the Distillery Timeline. 

John Birnie is a pivotal figure in the history of Glen Mhor and of course, Glen Albyn. He was the co-founder of the distillery and someone we will research more.

In addition, we also have some details of Robert Robertson, distillery manager, Glen Mhor. Formerly of the Mortlach distillery, which might explain the savoury notes of Glen Mhor? He had been the manager of Glen Mhor for 43 years at the time of his passing.
