Glen Mhor Distillery Diageo Archives

 

Our penultimate image from the Diageo Archives gives us a little more detail on the waterfront to Glen Mhor. This angle is perhaps the most seen with the canal offering a focus for many photographers. 

No date specified, but I feel this is likely the late 1970s and gives us perspective on the cluster of buildings that stood against the canal. These would have been the production buildings and have a jumbled nature from the additions from the original distillery layout, granting access to the canal for loading and unloading. You can appreciate how close the housing on Telford Street is on the left-hand side.
